Hosted by the Port of Nanaimo and GT Hiring Solutions, Port Connect will bring together key companies and associations from the Marine Sector, specifically from the Central Vancouver Island Region. This will be an opportunity to showcase your organization to many professionals actively pursuing a career in our growing industry.
Port Connect will differentiate from traditional “Hiring Fairs”. Rather than focusing on immediate employment and on-the-spot interviews, we are emphasizing meaningful connections for long-term industry relationships. Port Connect will provide attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to make valuable professional contacts, resulting in an influx of qualified and motivated individuals entering the regional Marine Sector.
As an Exhibitor, you will asked to provide a ‘story-board’ on a provided easel, to highlight your company and its role within the industry. Representing your company, you’ll be interacting with the attendees of Port Connect at your station, and encouraged to have brochures or informational material available. This will be a phenomenal event for attracting new individuals to consider your company for future employment, as well as to share how your company is making a meaningful contribution to our Marine Sector and regional economy.
