Port Moody sculpture recognizes maritime connection

"Knots" celebrates natural and industrial history of Port Moody...

Thanks to Paul McGeachie for these photos of a new installation at the top of the Moody Street Overpass in Port Moody. The public artwork that overlooks Rocky Point Park - "Knots" (signifying a unit of measurement for water and air flow) - was created by Contexture Design. Owner Nathan Lee, who grew up in the Tri-City area, beat out 40 other submissions judged by a panel of Port Moody residents.
